Capel Sound Chiropractic is a local clinic on Point Nepean Road, between Rosebud and Rye. We take a thorough, structural approach to back pain, neck pain and golf-related problems.

Our Approach

We start with a proper assessment, explain what we find in plain English, and agree on a plan that suits your goals. Care centres on chiropractic adjustments, combined with exercises and advice you can use at home.

Dr Nick Ruffin, chiropractor

Dr Nick Ruffin

Director & Chiropractor

Nick grew up receiving chiropractic care, and his mother is also a chiropractor. He studied at RMIT and has been practising since 2018. His main interests are golfers and lower back pain, and he uses posture and movement assessment to track how patients change over time.

Qualifications

  • BSc/BAppSc (Chiropractic and Health Science), RMIT, with Distinction
  • Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Level 1 Certified
  • Syntropy A: Full Spinal Adjusting
  • TMJ Assessment and Management

Outside the clinic, Nick spends time with his wife Bonnie and daughter Rosie, plays golf at Flinders Golf Club, and keeps studying through the Titleist Performance Institute.

Dr Creina Hogg, chiropractor

Chiropractor

Creina has more than 30 years of chiropractic experience. She trained in the USA, ran her own practice, and now works part-time at Capel Sound Chiropractic. Her interests include lower back pain and care for children.

Qualifications

  • BAppSc (Chiropractic Science)

Outside the clinic, Creina travels in her vintage Kombi, enjoys local markets, and visits her four children (including twins), who live overseas.

All our chiropractors are registered with AHPRA and the Chiropractic Board of Australia.
