Frequently Asked Questions

Fees, health funds, Medicare, safety and what to expect: the questions we're asked most often.

Your Questions Answered

How much are your fees?

First visit (history, examination and treatment where appropriate) $99. Standard visit $78. Concession $72.

Can I claim on my health fund?

Most Australian health funds pay a rebate for chiropractic if you have extras cover. Check with your fund for your rebate amount.

Do you see Medicare care plan (EPC) patients?

Yes. If your GP has given you a care plan that includes chiropractic visits, bring the referral. Medicare pays a rebate for each eligible visit and you pay the gap.

Do I need a referral?

No. Chiropractors are primary healthcare practitioners, so you can book directly.

How long is the first appointment?

Up to 45 minutes. Please arrive 10 minutes early to fill in your new patient form.

Are chiropractic adjustments safe?

For most people, yes. The most common side effect is mild soreness for a day or two. Serious complications are rare. We screen for risk factors during your examination and explain the benefits and risks before any treatment.

What is the clicking sound?

The pop you may hear during an adjustment is gas being released from the fluid inside the joint. It is normal.

Are chiropractors university trained?

Yes. Chiropractic in Australia is a five-year university program, and chiropractors are registered health professionals regulated by AHPRA.

When are you open?

Mon, Tue & Thu 9–6 · Fri 8–1. Closed Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.
